Word-wrap technology allows the chronological deployment of the SOAP note in horizontal rows, which greatly facilitates query of the database. The SOAP column is also vertically arranged with the click of a button. While retaining the conventional detailed SOAP encounter, as well as information needed for level III and IV documentation, a summary diagram is simultaneously created. This summary database can be attached to an updated HISTORY and PHYSICAL report to accelerate generation of needed documents for the hospitalized patient, including discharge summaries. Propinquity Software also allows the extraction of the most pertinent patient information from the large databases associated with chronic disease states.

The “Super-deployed” screen has been very useful in allowing the selection of the most essential encounters out of a long list of encounters for patient conference presentations (e.g. the best 8 out of 40 encounters).

My software has saved me immeasurable time when generating documents for admission history and physicals, discharge notes and encounter notes. At the same time, it has increased my confidence upon entering the patient’s exam room having reviewed their complete medical history in the matter of a few moments.
